Overview
A Trust is created when the author of the trust indicates with the reasonable certainty by any words or acts with the intention of on his part to create there by a trust, the purpose of the trust, beneficiary of the trust, and the trust property transferred to the trustee. The Public Charitable Trust has to be registered with the Chief Commissioner, who has jurisdiction over it. For Charitable Public Welfare activities the Tax Exemption are granted in Section 11, 12, and 13 of the Indian Income Tax Act.
